Live, Love and Lose There’ll come a day You’ll go away Leave me alone I’ll be okay I’ll carry on Though I’ll be missing you Live and learn We all get burned I’ve had my part In broken hearts The world moves on And now the table's turned It's the nature of this world we’re in Things keep moving on. It's the nature of these lives we live That all you love is lost. You live, you love, you lose but no one gets to choose The things that stay or go Or those they’ll cling to. I will die And you will cry you’re not alone I’ll be nearby You’ll carry on And I’ll watch over you. Our day will come We’ll all be gone And a brand new day will dawn you never know just what tomorrow brings It's the nature of this world we’re in Things keep moving on. It's the nature of these lives we live That all you love is gone. You live, you love, you lose but no one gets to choose The things that stay or go Or those they’ll cling to.

Numbskull 02:24
Numbskull Hey you What to do? Does the whole world seem messed up to you? It’s an insane Daisy chain And what I see makes me numb my brain. So I can’t feel I can’t smile I forget for a little while. I’m so numb I fear I’m dead. And it’s messing with my head. Hey friend Where’s the end to this madness in which we descend? It’s shameful And blameful. And what I see makes me numb my skull Chorus Hey son What you done? Do the inmates run the asylum? You’re brain dead And mislead And what I see makes me numb my head Chorus

Caroline 02:56
Caroline Compromise Where no one really gets the things that they need No matter how they beg No matter how they plead Compromise, compromise you’re not for me. Don’t live your life Giving up on the things in which you believe. Giving away yourself Till left with mediocrity Compromise, compromise you’re not for me. Caroline You never really got the things that you need. No matter how you begged. No matter how you plead. Caroline, Caroline you’re not for me. Caroline, Caroline you’re not for me. Caroline, Caroline, Caroline You know it’s true That we are through Oh Caroline

Devil's Ink 03:29
Devil’s Ink Oh can’t you see I’m the lonesome stranger. I spread a pox across this land. Where I walk, death and destruction But I’ll make you smile ‘fore I pry the coin from your dead, cold hands. The devil walks freely amongst you. He destroys all that God’s made He will take you by the by cause you chose to dance with the devil than look him in the eye. Ah ha I’ll take your home. I’ll take your money I’ll leave you broken in your hour of need. I heed the calling of a higher power. I ply my trade all in the name of corporate greed. Ah ha Colored beads and shiny baubles. All distract from the task at hand. I’m not your friend nor am I your neighbor. I spin illusions to sell you castles made of sand. Sow seeds of hatred, envy, despair Let you wallow in unanswered prayers. Divide and conquer gives me the key To drive this once great nation down upon its knees. Take what I want; leave you with nothing that you need. Then wring you dry until you cannot afford to bleed.

The Ballad of Willie Hatton Oh I’ve walked the line Since the age of nine Running doors and breaking up this coal. Though my mamma cried I’m resigned to die Like my daddy did in this dark hole. The lord gave Sunday as a day of rest Then back down this rabbit hole to die The only justice in this life we live Is that no one’s getting out alive It’s too dark to see a future in front of me winds of change come blow away my toil I will spend my death Like every waking breath Buried deep beneath this Pennsylvania soil. The lord gave Sunday as a day of rest Then back down this rabbit hole to die The only justice in this life we live Is that no one’s getting out alive Company ain’t no good They stole my childhood My deprivations can’t be lost to no avail And if you should fail this cautionary tale Come and join me in the depths of Avondale Come and join me in the depths of Avondale Come and join me in the depths of Avondale

Lying Ways 02:40
Your Lying Ways You broke my heart into pieces the day you told that lie. When asked if you still loved me you said you loved some other guy. Why do you insist on telling lies, lies, lies? Why do you insist on making grown men cry? I don’t believe a word you say that you have changed your lying ways ‘cause that will be the day that I die. I know that you still love me, but put me on the shelf. Though you’re in the arms of another, that's just you lying to yourself. Chorus At the end of my dark tunnel there shines a brilliant light. It’s the lamp off of your old nightstand. You even lie awake at night. Chorus
